Howell Township Recycling Center
Howell Township now provides free electronics recycling at our Municipal Recycling Center on Old Tavern Road.
Electronics are currently banned from the trash and must be recycled.
The electronics we accept are: computers, televisions, copiers, fax machines, stereos, telephones, VCR/ DVD players, cameras, microwaves, window unit air conditioners, wires and cables.
Recycling Center hours of operation are: Friday - Sunday, 8am-3pm, except holidays.

The 1987 Recycling Act
The 1987 Recycling Act mandated every town in New Jersey to recycle. During 2007 we diverted 36,800 tons of recyclables from landfills to recycling facilities. We at Howell Township are committed to a greener and cleaner community. Please use the links below to find out what is recyclable and view the recycling schedules.
